Action Continues at Diyarbakır City Hospital Construction Site

Our members employed at the Diyarbakır City Hospital construction site under the main contractor Gürbağ İnşaat and subcontractor Hermet Mekanik continue their action in front of the construction site.

Our members state that they have been subjected to workplace pressure because of their union membership and that their legal rights have not been granted.

During the action, our Workers’ Representatives Committee was elected directly by the workers. The elected representatives have now begun their duties.

As Yapı Yol-İş, we call on the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Diyarbakır Governorship, Gürbağ İnşaat and Hermet Mekanik to take action. The workers’ legal rights must be granted without delay.

Our action will continue until our members’ demands are met.
